It finds the sketch inside the whole estimate
A real Xactimate export is dozens of pages — cover, line items, summary — with the diagram on one page deep inside. TrueTakeoff scans the document, spots the page carrying the floor-plan geometry and its dimensions, and works from that one. You upload the file you already have; you don't have to hunt for the sketch page.
The floor plan comes back as true vector geometry, not a picture — so every wall and dimension is an editable CAD entity, and the drawing can never disagree with the measurements it was built from.
A drawing a GC can actually send
The architect sheet is laid out on a real, printable paper size at an architectural scale, with walls drawn to thickness, overall dimensions in feet-inches, a north arrow, a graphic scale, and a full title block — project, sheet, scale, date, drawn-by.

- Is the output editable CAD or just an image?
- Editable CAD. The sketch is rebuilt as real vector geometry and exported as DXF (and DWG), so every wall, room, and dimension is a true CAD entity you can edit.
- What paper sizes can I print the architect drawing on?
- Letter (8.5×11), Legal, Ledger/Tabloid (11×17), and ARCH B/C/D/E1 — at a named architectural scale or fit-to-sheet. Each sheet carries a title block and is marked PRELIMINARY.
- Can it also give me a material takeoff?
