Privacy Policy

Restored Technology LLC ("Restored Technology," "we," "us") operates TrueTakeoff. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using TrueTakeoff you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, company, and role, and we create an organization for your account.
• Content you upload. Project documents you add — construction drawings, Xactimate estimates, scope sheets, specifications, and photos — and the takeoffs, scopes, and pricing generated from them.
• Supplier information. If you connect suppliers, we store the connection, and suppliers may provide catalog and pricing data.
• Usage and analytics. We record limited, non-identifying analytics such as the pages viewed and an anonymous per-browser identifier, so we can understand site traffic and improve the product.
• Device information. To enforce account device limits and protect against sharing, we store a random device identifier and basic device/browser details for the devices you sign in on.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers; Stripe handles card data under its own terms.

How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure TrueTakeoff and generate your takeoffs, scopes, and pricing.
• To process subscriptions and meter usage.
• To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
• To understand product usage and improve features and reliability.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.

AI processing of your content

TrueTakeoff uses AI to read your documents and produce takeoffs and scopes. To do this, document content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train its models. We send only what is needed to generate your result.

Cookies and local storage

We use:

• Authentication cookies to keep you signed in.
• A local analytics identifier ("tt_visitor") to count unique visitors anonymously.
• A local device identifier ("tt_device") to enforce device limits.

You can clear these through your browser; doing so may sign you out or reset device recognition.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We rely on trusted providers to run the service, including:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — subscription and payment processing.
• Anthropic — AI processing of document content.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share content only as needed to operate the service (for example, with the subprocessors above), when you direct us to (for example, sharing pricing with a supplier you connect), or when required by law.

Data retention

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated content, subject to legal and operational retention needs.

Security

We use role-based access controls, tenant isolation, encrypted connections, and signed, scoped access links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@truetakeoff.net.

Children

TrueTakeoff is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
